Rutherford Public School’s Aboriginal bush tucker lesson

Here’s a video that was created as a follow-up to an Aboriginal bush tucker lesson provided by Ms O’Donnell at Rutherford Public School.

The children watched a video about bush tucker, and were asked to take notes and draw pictures of the interesting facts they liked about the video and the information that Ms O’Donnell shared about her own personal modern-day experiences of hunting and gathering bush tucker. The children were shown different bush tucker foods and were very keen to discuss their notes. This led to us making our own video. We hope you enjoy it!
